National Field Training Manager (Remote)

About the Position

The National Field Training Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and facilitation of both new hire and ongoing training for a Momentum Life Sciences (MLS) Field-based Nurse Educator team. This role supports the implementation of training content and initiatives for Momentum and the client, collaborating closely ongoing with client learning & development partners, nurse educator (NE) managers, and Momentum cross-functional teams.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring new hire readiness, certification, and ongoing development through structured onboarding, field observation, training assessments, and customized development plans. The National Field Training Manager also represents Momentum and the client at industry and advocacy events.

Essential Functions

New Hire Training & Onboarding

  • Act as subject matter expert in product/program/disease state, HCP engagements, systems, programs, and processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for new hires during training and through first 90-days, holding daily check-in meetings throughout onboarding
  • Track Nurse Educator (NE) completion of all MLS & client required trainings; ensure full training and certifications are in alignment with client standards and reviewed jointly during the first 90 days being live in the field
  • Monitor new hire engagement and participation, addressing questions and escalating concerns to the NE Manager as appropriate

Training Development

  • Manage training agendas and curriculum within MLS learning platforms in partnership with the MLS training team
  • Set and maintain annual training plans for NE team in partnership with MLS training team, NE Director and Managers
  • Create, update, and maintain all training content and knowledge management system updates within Momentum training systems
  • Review, update, and deliver any client training content as needed, ensuring all disease-state, compliance, and injection-related updates are validated with client prior to deployment

Training Delivery & Certification

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person NE training sessions (including field ride-along), group workshops, with a focus on injection training, process, compliance, cultural competence, and new initiatives
  • Complete and administer program content and medication injection training certifications
  • Conduct internal field calibrations (in partnership with MLS training and NE Director) to identify training gaps and opportunities
  • Foster Momentum culture and reinforce company values, behaviors, and performance standards

Nurse Educator Role Expertise & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain expertise in client operational practices, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with quality audits of NE interactions to ensure adherence to best practices
  • Participate in project initiatives, system testing, and requirements gathering
  • Collect and monitor team feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives
  • Serve as an expert resource for troubleshooting IT and systems-related issues

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with NE Managers ongoing to lead new hire training, ongoing training initiatives, and opportunities for additional training needs
  • Consult with MLS training, client partners, and CL&D teams on training and workshop needs
  • Attend Leadership team meetings, National Sales Meetings, Mid-Year Meetings, and POA’s related to training and field readiness
  • Observe interactions between NEs and Matrix teams to assess and address training needs
  • Maintain strong partnership with the client CL&D team to ensure alignment and consistency in training to core competencies

  • Experience with being held accountable to metrics and maintaining a high standard of work in a real-time interactive environment
  • Experienced in Salesforce, Power BI, and other programs essential to success in this role

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Active, unrestricted RN license with 3+ years of clinical experience
  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership and/or training role in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in developing training materials
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and grit
  • Experience using multiple software applications within a multiple-screen environment including Microsoft products
  • Ability to utilize reporting and data to develop training plans and coach appropriate behaviors

Special Position Requirements

Travel:

  • Up to 50% Travel

Working Conditions:

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively (hear, listen, speak) with or without reasonable accommodations.
